While Oak Pointe owns several state-of-the-art CNC machines, there are times when older rotary head lathes will more efficiently produce your products. Oak Pointe has many rotary head lathes and craftsmen who can build and maintain the tooling to run these machines.

With the combination of CNC lathes and in-house rotary lathe tooling, it allows Oak Pointe to custom match specific project designs and specifications. Having in-house capabilities also allows Oak Pointe to pass the savings of completing custom projects on to our customers.

Any wood species in a variety of sizes can be accommodated.

Other customer benefits of maintaining the rotary head lathe tooling in house, include being able to sharpen and repair tools for minimal downtime, control over the quality of the parts being turned and the ability to maintain dimensional stability in the wood products we deliver.
